Sprite is an absolutely adorable black female American Pit Bull Terrier. This precious little bully pup was traveling with her owner when he had car trouble; he began walking, leaving the pup in the car- when he was stopped and asked if he was returning for his dog, he nonchalantly responded with a "no". A kind police officer then rescued her and got her into rescue so she would be placed in a home with someone who appreciated the love she has to give. Sprite s a typical Pit pup- energetic, active, destructive, and stubborn- she is into everything, all the time, and craves attention. She will need a home with someone who is patient, can spend sufficient time with her for training, and has Pit Bull experience. Due to the rough nature of Pit Bull puppies, we do not place pups under the age of 6 months in homes with children under the age of 5.

Sprite is affectionate, intelligent, and willing to do ANYTHING for a treat- she is working on basic commands to begin her transformation to bully ambassador. She has made it clear that she enjoys being spoiled, pampered, and loved. Sprite enjoys car rides, enjoys playtime, an abundance of toys, and loves treats. Sprite thrives on interaction with other dogs, but due to the Pit Bull's tendency to be same sex dog aggressive, she will not be placed into a home with other female dogs. Due to her age, she is not fully housebroken, but she is doing well with housebreaking, and is crate trained to help with her training.

Sprite has been spayed, has begun her puppy vaccines, fecal tested and dewormed, started on heartworm prevention, and microchipped. There is a $200.00 adoption fee to partially reimburse the organization for the veterinary expenses listed above. Sprite is looking for an INDOOR home, ONLY: we do not adopt to homes that will keep our rescued Pitties outdoors and/or on chains, runners, or in fences, kennels, pens, etc- If you cannot/will not provide an indoor home for our Bullies, or are looking to breed/fight, do NOT contact our organization (or apply for adoption) regarding Sprite or any of our rescued Pit Bulls. Application, adoption fee, home checks, references, and contract are REQUIRED for adoption. Sprite is ready for a loving, forever home with someone who can commit to her for the next 12-15 years of her life.
