Shane [who currently resides in TX] is a personable, and adore-a-bull 2 year old white male American Pit Bull Terrier. Shane is a very fortunate bully who was rescued from a very neglectful situation, where he was lucky to leave alive; he was being starved by his owners, and was skin and bones when rescued (see picture 2). Despite his rough past, Shane is a happy, playful, goofy boy who loves everyone he meets. He just hopes someone will come along and see what a great boy he is, and offer him a forever home and a life full of pampering and spoiling!

Shane has passed basic obedience with flying colors, so he'll make an easy addition to a new family, leaving little for his new family to teach him. He's gentle, and has great manners- he just lacks a family and home of his own. Shane enjoys a good playtime outside, long walks, car rides, giving BIG wet kisses to everyone he meets, and being a goofy Bully. He's affectionate, intelligent, and ever-so-loyal. He's made it clear that he enjoys being spoiled, pampered, and loved. Shane enjoys toys, loves treats, and makes no complaints about being handled all over or having items removed from his mouth- he's just glad to get the attention. Shane interacts well with most other dogs, though due to the Pit Bulls' tendency for same sex dog aggression, Shane will not be placed in a home with other male dogs.

Shane is housebroken and crate trained. He has been neutered, vaccinated, fecal tested and dewormed, heartworm tested negative and kept on heartworm prevention, and microchipped. There is a $175.00 adoption fee to partially reimburse the organization for the veterinary expenses listed above. Shane is looking for an INDOOR home, ONLY: we do not adopt to homes that will keep our rescued Pitties outdoors and/or on chains, runners, or in fences, kennels, pens, etc- If you cannot/will not provide an indoor home for our Bullies, or are looking to breed/fight, do NOT contact our organization (or apply for adoption) regarding Shane or any of our rescued Pit Bulls.
