Molly is an adorable four year old black female American Pit Bull Terrier. This sweetheart and her puppy were rescued from the streets in July 2007. Her puppy was recently adopted, but Molly is still awaiting her forever home. Her foster parent, unfortunately, is unable to continue keeping Molly, as she has 7 other dogs and Molly does not get along with all of them, which makes it difficult to continue fostering her. Molly promises that if you can overlook her slight older age (she views herself in a prime age; just past her puppyhood and at the perfect age for enjoyment by a new family), she'll share your bed with you, and will give daily bully kisses for life! Molly is a mellow, quiet girl who enjoys spending her days sitting at the window looking out at the birds, squirrels, cars, and everythign else outside.

Molly does well in the car, and loves toys, treats, and attention. She adores people, and wants nothing more than to please- she is extremely affectionate, and loves to snuggle...even more, she loves massages and hopes her new family will offer her daily massages to help her unwind from the stressful life of being a pampered Pittie! She is very eager to please, walks well on leash with the aid of a prong collar, and is a quick learner; she has great manners, and even refrains from jumping on new people (which most Pit parents know is a trait of the breed). She'd be the great choice for a first time dog/Pit owner. Molly is not cat friendly, and does not always do well with other dogs (though she could be placed with a compatible male, if one is found, but would most likely do best as the only dog in her new home); due to the Pit Bull's tendencies for same sex dog aggression, she will not be placed in a home with other female dogs, or in a home with cats.

Molly is housebroken, and LOVES to be indoors. She has been spayed, kept current on vaccines, heartworm tested negative, kept current on heartworm prevention, fecal tested, dewormed, and microchipped. There is a $175.00 adoption fee to partially reimburse the organization for the veterinary expenses listed above. Molly is looking for an INDOOR home, ONLY: we do not adopt to homes that will keep our rescued Pitties outdoors and/or on chains, runners, or in fences, kennels, pens, etc- If you cannot/will not provide an indoor home for our Bullies, or are looking to breed/fight, do NOT contact our organization (or apply for adoption) regarding Molly or any of our rescued Pit Bulls. Application, adoption fee, home checks, references, and contract are REQUIRED for adoption. To be considered for adoption, please fill out and submit an Application for Adoption BEFORE contacting us directly.
