Alexa is an adorable five year old black and white female American Pit Bull Terrier. This sweetheart has found herself in need of a forever home after her owners separated and she was sent to live with one of the children and her mother....where Alexa was unfortunately let out of the house one day and attacked a goat. Afterwards, Alexa was deemed "vicious" and her owners are being fined $100.00 per day until she is moved out of the area; Alexa desperately needs a foster or permanent home soon, as she is not legally allowed where she is currently living. This sweet, well behaved bully has been raised with love and affection since she was a puppy. She was previously taken to a children's learning center, where she thrived on the companionship of the children, and they adored her company- Alexa would love a home with children.

Alexa is playful and energetic, but not hyper- she LOVES to go for walks on a leash and for car rides. She thrive on human companionship, and giving/receiving kisses. Alexa favors toys and treats, cuddling, and being spoiled. She adores people, and wants nothing more than to please her people- she is extremely loyal. She is very eagar to please, walks well on leash, and is a quick learner. Alexa has excellent "in public" manners, and is very ladylike when meeting new people She interacts well with most other dogs, though due to the Pit Bulls' tendency for same sex dog aggression, will not be placed in a home with other female dogs.

Alexa is housebroken and crate trained. She has been spayed, kept current on vaccines, heartworm tested negative, kept current on heartworm prevention, fecal tested, dewormed, and microchipped. There is a $175.00 adoption fee to partially reimburse the organization for the veterinary expenses listed above. Alexa is looking for an INDOOR home, ONLY: we do not adopt to homes that will keep our rescued Pitties outdoors and/or on chains, runners, or in fences, kennels, pens, etc- If you cannot/will not provide an indoor home for our Bullies, or are looking to breed/fight, do NOT contact our organization (or apply for adoption) regarding Alexa or any of our rescued Pit Bulls. Application, adoption fee, home checks, references, and contract are REQUIRED for adoption.
